Our 9th anniversary is this week.
Crazy right, it's hard to believe that this punk a__ teenager turned into a wife, a mother, and for some reason a wonderful man has been able to put up with me for so long.
Anyway, as I think back on it, the first thought is:
Where has the time gone?
If I've been married for nine years, can I still be 23...those numbers add up don't they?
Is it possible that I am in fact hotter now then I was at 23? (I did that to be funny, so not serious...well maybe a little)
I've had the best nine years I could ever hope for.
My last thought will now become a cry for help (don't worry, I still am in love with my hot lips)
WHAT SHOULD I GET GORDON FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY?????
Please help, any suggestions would be very much welcomed!
Okay lets hear them.....

Guys only want one thing.... :)
It's true, especially for your Hot Lips!
come on people (sisters) give me something good!
Why should I...you never come up with anything good for me and my gifts.
You should get his scooter fixed...he would LOVE that.
Bite me...I try to help but Kendall has EVERYTHING, and I don't really know his taste. No I'm not getting the scooter fixed for his anniversary gift.
good for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was going to ask Kendall what he suggested but since I'm good for nothin'....
WOW! I can not believe you are that old! I don't know your "Hotlips" but I got Aaron one of our photos blown up on a large canvas in an Andy Warhol type print. It turned out great. Let me know if you want me to give you the site.
To specify I am only 28. I got married at 19, I just said 23 because I liked that age better then 19.
Thanks Tina I like that idea of blowing-up a picture, but the Andy Warhol look wouldn't go with our house what so ever. Does the place you got it done do all sorts of enlargement stuff?
I understood your gross understatement. :) I was just giving you a hard time. Remembering that if you have aged that means I have too! :(
It just seems like it was yesterday we were at youth dances and driving our church leaders crazy.
How time flies!!!
The website I had ours done at is photowow.com. They do a variety of styles. However, they may be too eclectic for you. My experience with them was great tho.
Good luck and Happy Anniversary!
I have no idea, but I'll ask Art Boy.
Jake says a new cool "I'm a guy, not a dad" watch. Or any apple products (depending on what you want to spend), like ipod or phone.
Tate says a Nerf Gun or a goldfish.
=Al
Those are good ideas! Thanks Parker Family
Coren, I am sorry I haven't come through for you, since I am the best at either tracking down gifts for gordon (the ipod at Christmas) or finding cool stuff that looks like him (that belt buckle.
Let me sleep on it. Oh, wait! I don't sleep. Let me think about it.
I have no ideas about a gift (I can't even come up with a b-day present for my own hubby!), but I just wanted to jump in with you on the how-the-h*ll-did-this-happen and the where-did-the-time-go rant. Because, I mean, how the h*ll did all this happen? And where did the time go? You know? I mean....me? With a wholesome husband and multiple fantastic kids? It's craziness, I tell you! Congratulations on 9 fantastic years!
Happy Anniversary. So Steve and I are both bad with gifts so long long ago we decided on our anniversary every year we were going to buy something for us or for the house, pick it out together, something that we really want but wouldn't normally just go out and buy.
No good ideas from me either because I stink at presents and Warren seems to get himself something anyways. Good luck and if you think of anything let me know because our 9th is also coming up. Wasn't 23 a great age!!
what did you get him?
