I was just telling the hubby that this summer felt like the longest summer ever, but it may have had something to do with this...
We both got into poison ivy and were M.I.A for a good 2 weeks and missed our planed vacation and then the hubby had an emergency appendectomy to top off the fun, but I shan't complain...today :)

We watched my Grandparents horse race (which was super fun)
...and much more. Yes it was a long summer but it was also one of those summers that we will never forget and in a few years I may even look back on the horrible and laugh.

Loved reading your post. Sorry for all the nastiness this summer. Well almost all of it. If you hadn't missed your planned vacation, we might not have seen you on your unplanned one! :-)
