I love the AG dolls because they are historical characters and come with a book about themselves. Some of the dolls have their own series of books. When Aubrey got hers I relly tried talking her into getting Kit because I thought she was so cute and she reminded me of Aubrey. She picked a different one though and now Kit has a movie about her in theaters. So what I'm trying to say is, my vote is for Kit.
I don't know much about either of them. But,when I see them - I like the American Girl doll better.

My Katy is obsessed with American Girl lately, and she doesn't even have one of the dolls! I say go with American Girl, because then she can get into reading the books, and gettin' her learn on ;)
I loved my american doll growing up and I loved the books about her. I still have the books and the doll and Tia and I started reading one once. I vote american doll.
It depends on if they can my the my twin with a booty like Ella's. IF they can, then get one of those!
If not, get the AG doll. You can take her for lunch or to the stylist at the psycho doll place. There is more to do with them. Plus the whole historical la-de-da.
I would ask the my-twin people but they might think I have problems!
